PhDr. Petr Berousek

I graduated from the university field of psychology and pedagogy at Charles University and subsequently also worked there as an assistant professor. I also completed a specialization study for the profession of health care at the Institute of Physicians and Pharmacists and subsequently worked in a regional health care facility. I also completed training in the field of coaching of people working in stressful professions. For many years I worked in teaching students of pedagogy, psychology, human resources in university training for health professions and subsequent professional education, in psychological support of human resources in companies, in postgraduate and post-secondary education of health workers, as well as managers and specialists in psychologically particularly demanding professions. I have been academically active for more than 40 years – so far. In addition to working at FFUK and VŠE, I worked at several universities – for example as a guarantor of psychology at AMAK in Prague, in managerial training at Unicorn College and CTU (MÚVS) and in education and coaching of artists within the CPA professional association. education of the Czech Medical Association, but also in educational programs of the Czech Radio, etc. I lecture on psychological topics for students of the University of the Third Age at the University of Economics in Prague. I have many years of experience working in a psychological surgery with a focus on people with non-infectious skin diseases and disorders of metabolism and the immune system. I run a psychological counseling center; I have been active in counseling and therapeutic practice for more than 30 years. I also work as a psychologist for the needs of OSPOD and as a psychologist-psychotherapist in a spa (Schroth’s Medical Spa Dolní Lipová)
I have been married for over 40 years (without changing my wife), I have two daughters and I am also a happy grandfather to 3 grandchildren – Jend, Amálka and Karolínka.
