Na st\u00e1\u017e jsem z\u00edskal v nemocnici ve Svitav\u00e1ch, kde jsem pracoval na intern\u00edm odd\u011blen\u00ed. Zde jsem p\u016fsobil do roku 2004 a postupn\u011b z\u00edsk\u00e1val zku\u0161enosti p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm na standardn\u00edm odd\u011blen\u00ed, ale i na intern\u00ed jednotce intenzivn\u00ed p\u00e9\u010de (JIP), d\u00e1le konzulta\u010dn\u00ed \u010dinnost\u00ed v jin\u00fdch klinick\u00fdch oborech v\u010detn\u011b p\u0159edopera\u010dn\u00edch vy\u0161et\u0159en\u00ed a poopera\u010dn\u00ed p\u00e9\u010de, d\u00e1le ambulantn\u00ed kardiologie a p\u00e9\u010de o cukrovku. . V roce 2000 jsem promoval na vnit\u0159n\u00edm l\u00e9ka\u0159stv\u00ed. V dal\u0161\u00edm obdob\u00ed jsem se ve sv\u00e9 pr\u00e1ci profiloval p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm na p\u00e9\u010di o geriatrick\u00e9 pacienty. V roce 2004 jsem nastoupil do Fakultn\u00ed nemocnice Motol, kde jsem pokra\u010doval ve specializa\u010dn\u00edm vzd\u011bl\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed, kter\u00e9 jsem v roce 2010 ukon\u010dil atesta\u010dn\u00ed zkou\u0161kou v oboru geriatrie. Jsem \u010dlenem \u010cesk\u00e9 geriatrick\u00e9 a gerontologick\u00e9 spole\u010dnosti Jana Evangelisty Purkyn\u011b. V odborn\u00e9m r\u016fstu pokra\u010duji \u00fa\u010dast\u00ed na kongresech a semin\u00e1\u0159\u00edch v oblasti praktick\u00e9ho a intern\u00edho l\u00e9ka\u0159stv\u00ed, geriatrie, ale i paliativn\u00ed medic\u00edny.
